Warm, engaging, relational therapy
I know what it’s like to need support – and I know how hard it can be to ask for it. Whether you’re wading through anxiety, depression, loss, uncertainty, change, or any other challenge, seeking help can feel daunting and uncomfortable. I am here for you and would love to help you lighten your load.
I provide an engaging, warm, and sometimes humorous space to unpack and explore what you’re going through. My approach to therapy is eclectic because therapy is not a one-size fits all process, and our work together will reflect that. My therapeutic foundation is in existentialism, family systems, and relational gestalt; I love talking about the big questions of life, but I want to focus on you here and now. I firmly believe that you are the expert of your own story, and through a relationship of honest dialogue, care, and mutual respect, I hope to support your growth and healing. My goal is to make you feel heard.
I am happy to help you work through whatever it may be that you’re facing. With that said, I particularly enjoy working with young folks (age 12+), couples, people struggling with body image issues, multiracial and multicultural identity issues, religious trauma, and big life transitions. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist who strongly believes that the personal is political. In healing ourselves, we heal our communities, too.
If you think that we may be a good fit, please reach out to schedule a free 20-minute consultation. I currently offer support virtually on Zoom and am accepting new clients.
